Sherborne Pack Monday Fair

Pack Monday Fair is a street market dating back to medieval times, held annually in Sherborne on the first Monday after 10th October – old Michaelmas Day. It's a unique and historic event in Sherborne that has been running for centuries. Although no longer an agricultural fair, it is still a major event in Sherborne with four of the town’s main streets full of street traders and food stalls on Monday 12 October 2026. On the day, there will also be events at Sherborne Abbey and Pageant Gardens. There's free music and entertainment all day long in The Conduit and Pageant Gardens. Traders come from all over the UK with their wares and there is everything from wolf fleeces to Japanese sweets. There's a superb selection of hot food and locally produced beer and cider. Trading is from 8am to 10pm with free parking in the town car parks. The traditional fairground at Terrace Playing Fields is open from Thursday to Monday.
