This concert is being organised to help maintain the church, which needs work to ensure it is watertight, involving repairs to the tower, roof and windows. St Martin's church tower dates from the 14th Century while the rest of the building is a Victorian (1862) restoration, which was overseen by the architectural practice where Thomas Hardy was employed.
