The Fold Monthly Artisan Market 2026

Stall application · The Fold · 5 dates

The first Sunday of every month except January, 10am to 3pm, all undercover in the Market Barn and the Carthouse. Around 75 traders selling handmade, ethical and sustainable things you will not find on the high street — street food, organic vegetables, jams and beer, plastic-free lifestyle goods, paintings and jewellery. Free entry, free parking, dog friendly, and between a thousand and twelve hundred people through the door.

Thank you for wanting to trade with us. A few honest things before you start. We are a not-for-profit with a very small team and a very high number of applications, so please allow three weeks for a reply. We curate every date by hand to keep a good spread of different products in the barn, which means a no is usually about what is already booked that month rather than about your work. You will need public liability insurance to trade, and a hygiene certificate as well if you sell anything edible. You can upload both after you are offered a date. Tick as many dates as you like below. If you have not traded with us before we will usually offer you one date to try first.

Fields marked * are required.

Which dates would suit you? *

You'll never be offered more dates than this.

Prices can vary by date — the organiser confirms the exact fee with your offer.

Tell us about your work in your own words — what you make, how you make it and what it costs.

The closest fit. We use this to make sure there is a proper spread in the barn.

The artisan market is for makers and growers. If you resell bought-in stock, the Vintage Fayre or Second-hand Saturday is the right home for you and we will happily point you there.

Up to 5 files.

Up to five. We cannot consider an application without images, and a photo of your actual display tells us far more than product shots alone.

We use this to check your work and to tag you when we promote the market.

Village or town is plenty. We like to say how much of the barn is genuinely local.

Anything edible or drinkable, including cakes, preserves and non-alcoholic drinks.

Electric hire is £5 per date. There are only eight sockets in the barn, so it goes first come first served.

Tables are £6 per date and are 183 x 76cm. Plenty of traders bring their own.

Not needed for the barn or the Carthouse, but useful for us to know for outdoor dates.

Access needs, someone you would rather not be placed next to, a date you are unsure about — anything.

One application covers every date you pick — the organiser decides each date separately.
