Free entry
No ticket needed — just turn up. Bring a bag, ours are all paper.
Dogs welcome
Dogs are welcome on a lead, and there is always a water bowl going.
No single-use plastic
Every stall here packs in paper, glass or compostable material. No exceptions.
Meet the makers
Amber Studio
Candles & home fragrance
I make beeswax candles from our own hives with wax from twelve hives in the Chilterns. Each one is poured, wicked and labelled in one afternoon.
Bramble Works
Bath & body
I make simple skincare with five ingredients or fewer using British-grown botanicals wherever they exist.
Chisel Woodwork
Woodwork
I turn bowls on a pole lathe with hand tools, so you can hear me working at the market.
Ember Cart
Streetfood
We make Neapolitan-style pizza from a converted trailer on a single gas ring, which keeps the menu honest. Our meat is British free-range organic and we are happy to be asked about it.
Fold Store
Homewares
I sew cushions from vintage fabric using curtains and blankets from house clearances. Made to be handed down rather than replaced.
Glaze Larder
Ceramics
I throw functional stoneware on the wheel glazed in soft oatmeal, sage and off-white. Mugs, jugs and serving bowls made to be used daily.
Lune Craft
Jewellery
I solder fine chains and stacking rings cast in my kitchen from recycled offcuts. Commissions are about a third of what I do.
Paw Kitchen
Pet treats & accessories
I make dog biscuits with British free-range meat and every treat is baked the week of the market.
Press Studio
Print & illustration
I illustrate the Thames path in ink and gouache printed on a press in my spare room.
Quire Bindery
Stationery
I marble paper the traditional way so no two covers are ever the same. No plastic wrap, no cellophane, no shrink film.
Slip Pottery
Ceramics
I make small-batch tableware with a matte speckle and a raw clay foot.
Smoke Streetfood
Streetfood
We run a small Ethiopian kitchen and every box, fork and cup we hand over is compostable. Vegan by default, with dairy as the option rather than the other way round.
Taper Works
Candles & home fragrance
I make beeswax candles from our own hives with wax from twelve hives in the Chilterns. No palm wax, no plastic wrap, no cellophane.
The Wander Kitchen
Streetfood
We do one thing — a proper toasted sandwich with everything prepped from scratch the morning before.
Wild Preserves
Preserves & pantry
I preserve whatever the orchards give me using surplus from farms within twenty miles.
Wooden Company
Kids & toys
I make wooden toys from sustainable beech finished with food-safe oil so they can go in the mouth.
Workshops
Christmas wreath making
with The Wander Kitchen · Adults and over-14s with an adult · 90 min
Build a full door wreath on a moss base with foraged eucalyptus, spruce, dried orange and seed heads. You'll learn how to bind a base that won't sag by New Year and go home with something that took an hour and looks like it took three.
