Meet the makers

  • Copper Jewellery

    Jewellery

I cast small sculptural rings shaped around the wearer rather than a trend. Boxes are card, not plastic — the little bags are cotton.

  • Hedgerow Store

    Preserves & pantry

I make small-batch chutneys and jams from fruit gleaned around Bucks that would otherwise go to waste.

    website@hedgerowstore

  • Kitchen Larder

    Preserves & pantry

I make marmalade from Seville oranges once a year in copper pans, twelve jars at a time.

  • Ledger Press

    Stationery

I marble paper the traditional way so no two covers are ever the same.

    website@ledgerpress

  • Lune Row

    Jewellery

I make recycled silver jewellery by hand using reclaimed metal and Fairmined stones. Boxes are card, not plastic — the little bags are cotton.

  • Plate & Co

    Print & illustration

I illustrate the Thames path in ink and gouache printed on a press in my spare room.

    website@plateco

  • Spoon Horse

    Woodwork

I turn bowls on a pole lathe with hand tools, so you can hear me working at the market.

    website@spoonhorse

  • Tallow Room

    Candles & home fragrance

I make beeswax candles from our own hives with wax from twelve hives in the Chilterns. The seconds shelf is candles with a wonky top and a full burn time.

  • Thames Ceramics

    Ceramics

I throw functional stoneware on the wheel glazed in soft oatmeal, sage and off-white.

    website@thamesceramics

  • The Warp Studio

    Textiles & accessories

I block-print cloth by hand with natural dyes I grow or forage. Scraps go into the patchwork line, so there is no waste.

Workshops

Beeswax wrap making

with Ledger Press · Everyone, children with an adult · 45 min

Make three reusable food wraps from cotton offcuts and local beeswax, and never buy cling film again. We iron the wax into the cloth, you cut and pink the edges, and you walk out with a small, a medium and one big enough for a bread loaf.

  • Sun 13 Dec, 11:00 · Workshop table· 8 places left
