Meet the makers
Beech Workshop
Woodwork
I turn bowls on a pole lathe with hand tools, so you can hear me working at the market. No varnish, no lacquer, nothing you would not eat off.
Bobbin Company
Textiles & accessories
I block-print cloth by hand with natural dyes I grow or forage. Repairs are free, forever. Send it back and I will fix it.
Proof Bakehouse
Bakery & cakes
I make Persian pastries and cardamom buns and nothing leaves the oven more than fourteen hours before market.
Slip Harbour
Ceramics
I throw and hand-carve porcelain in muted glazes tested over two years. Seconds go on the table at the end and always sell first.
Smoke Kitchen
Streetfood
We cook Georgian khachapuri fresh on the griddle with cheese from a dairy eleven miles from the market. Vegan by default, with dairy as the option rather than the other way round.
Spoon Horse
Woodwork
I turn bowls on a pole lathe with hand tools, so you can hear me working at the market.
The Hedgerow Kitchen
Preserves & pantry
I make small-batch chutneys and jams from fruit gleaned around Bucks that would otherwise go to waste. Labels are printed on recycled stock and hand-written.
Workshops
Cold-process soap, start to finish
with Slip Harbour · Adults only, 18+ · 75 min
Make a small batch of olive and shea soap — no palm oil — and understand the chemistry well enough to do it safely at home. Cures for six weeks, so you collect it at a later market.

Chutney making with a glut
with The Hedgerow Kitchen · Adults and over-14s · 60 min
Turn a crate of end-of-season tomatoes into four jars of chutney. Bring your own jars and we'll fill them; leave with the recipe scaled for whatever your allotment does to you in September.
