Meet the makers

  • Copper Pantry

    Preserves & pantry

I make marmalade from Seville oranges once a year in copper pans, twelve jars at a time.

    website@copperpantry

  • Cullet House

    Glass

I fuse and slump kiln-formed glass from bottles collected at these very markets.

    website@cullethouse

  • Fire Grill

    Streetfood

We cook Sri Lankan hoppers to order using British free-range meat and vegetables from our own allotment.

    website@firegrill

  • Folio Studio

    Print & illustration

I make screen prints in two or three colours of the river, the deer park and the birds on them. Cards and prints — the cards keep the lights on.

    website@foliostudio

  • Knot Workshop

    Woodwork

I turn bowls on a pole lathe with hand tools, so you can hear me working at the market.

    website@knotworkshop

  • Roam Cart

    Streetfood

We make Neapolitan-style pizza from a converted trailer on a single gas ring, which keeps the menu honest. Vegan by default, with dairy as the option rather than the other way round.

    website@roamcart

  • Slip Studio

    Ceramics

I throw and hand-carve porcelain in muted glazes tested over two years. Everything is fired twice in a shared kiln in Brentford.

    website@slipstudio

  • Story & Co

    Kids & toys

I make play silks dyed with plants in colours from onion skin, madder and indigo.

    website@storyco

  • The Beeswax Room

    Candles & home fragrance

I roll and dip pure beeswax tapers scented only with essential oils.

    website@thebeeswaxroom

  • The Ember Table

    Streetfood

We make Neapolitan-style pizza from a converted trailer on a single gas ring, which keeps the menu honest. We serve until it runs out, which on a good Sunday is by two.

    website@theembertable

  • The Reworked Wardrobe

    Clothing

I make children’s clothes from deadstock cotton in sizes 6 to 24 because that is the whole point. No new fabric is bought for anything on this rail.

    website@thereworkedwardrobe

  • The Salt Pot

    Streetfood

We make Neapolitan-style pizza from a converted trailer on a single gas ring, which keeps the menu honest.

    website@thesaltpot

  • Willow Studio

    Textiles & accessories

I sew bags from salvaged sailcloth and canvas from offcuts that would otherwise be landfill.

    website@willowstudio

  • Windfall Larder

    Preserves & pantry

I ferment hot sauces and kimchi with no pectin, no preservatives and nothing you cannot pronounce. Metal lids and glass, nothing plastic anywhere in the packaging.
