Meet the makers

  • Bramble Field

    Preserves & pantry

I make small-batch chutneys and jams from fruit gleaned around Bucks that would otherwise go to waste.

  • Copper Pan

    Streetfood

We cook Sri Lankan hoppers to order using British free-range meat and vegetables from our own allotment.

  • Copper Thread

    Jewellery

I make recycled silver jewellery by hand using reclaimed metal and Fairmined stones.

  • Ember Flame

    Candles & home fragrance

I make beeswax candles from our own hives with wax from twelve hives in the Chilterns. Bring the jar back and the refill is a third off.

  • Ember Pottery

    Ceramics

I make small-batch tableware with a matte speckle and a raw clay foot.

  • Facet Made

    Jewellery

I hand-forge everyday pieces in brass and silver with a hammered finish that catches the light.

  • Honey Oven

    Bakery & cakes

I make Polish babka and cinnamon buns in small batches, in my own kitchen, licensed and inspected.

  • Press Works

    Print & illustration

I make screen prints in two or three colours of the river, the deer park and the birds on them. Prints come unframed with a card backing and a compostable sleeve.

  • Story Row

    Kids & toys

I make play silks dyed with plants in colours from onion skin, madder and indigo. Repairs free, forever, because they will get chewed.

    website@storyrow

  • The Basket House

    Homewares

I weave willow baskets from willow I grow and cut on a Thames-side bed. Everything here replaces something that would have been plastic.

    Preserves & pantry

I ferment hot sauces and kimchi with no pectin, no preservatives and nothing you cannot pronounce. I keep a tasting spoon going all day, which is most of the fun.
