Meet the makers

  • Bothy Cider

    Craft beer & cider

I brew a dark mild and a Scottish 80/- in a ten-barrel plant outside Alloa. Mixed cases are the easiest way to try the range.

    website@bothycider

  • Bothy Kiln Co

    Ceramics

I throw porcelain and carve it by hand glazed in oatmeal, sea green and off-white.

    website@bothykilnco

  • Braeside Botanicals

    Plants & flowers

I grow hardy perennials and herbs from what I’ve grown and dried through the season. Everything’s grown, not bought in.

    website@braesidebotanicals

  • Braeside Honey

    Honey & bees

I make mead and sell honey from my own hives taken up to the heather in August.

    website@braesidehoney

  • Bramble Bath Co

    Soap & skincare

I make shampoo bars and solid conditioner scented with essential oils only. Plastic-free packaging throughout.

    website@bramblebathco

  • Bruntsfield Store

    Preserves & chutneys

I forage and preserve — bramble, elderflower, rowan, rosehip from fruit grown in the Clyde Valley. Tasting spoons on the stall — try before you buy.

    website@bruntsfieldstore

  • Clyde & Bean

    Hot drinks

I run a mobile espresso bar with oat milk as standard, dairy on request.

    website@clydebean

  • Clyde Valley Farm

    Fruit & veg

I grow soft fruit — strawberries, raspberries, tayberries without a drop of chemical fertiliser.

    website@clydevalleyfarm

  • Kelpie & Wick

    Candles & home fragrance

I hand-pour candles scented with Scottish botanicals with cotton wicks and a proper cure time.

    website@kelpiewick

  • Kelpie Bakehouse

    Bakery & cakes

I bake sourdough and slow-fermented bread in small batches from a converted garage kitchen. Everything sells out by lunchtime, which I take as a good sign.

    website@kelpiebakehouse

  • Kelpie Coffee

    Hot drinks

I roast my own beans and serve them from a trailer from a converted Piaggio with a two-group machine. First fifty cups are always the best — get in early.

    website@kelpiecoffee

  • Ochil Farm

    Butcher & game

I sell wild venison and game in season shot within twenty miles and processed the same week.

    website@ochilfarm

  • Rowan Gin

    Gin & whisky

I make small-batch gin with foraged botanicals distilled in a 100-litre copper still in Alloa. Off-sales only unless the event has a bar licence.

    website@rowangin

  • Sweetie Confectionery

    Sweets & fudge

I make Scottish tablet and fudge stirred by hand in a copper pan. Everything’s made within 48 hours of the market.

    website@sweetieconfectionery

  • Wee Emporium

    Vintage & upcycled

I restore and sell mid-century glassware sized properly, because vintage sizing lies.

    website@weeemporium

  • Wee Wagon

    Street food

I run a Polish street food kitchen — pierogi and bigos smoked for twelve hours before the market opens.
