Meet the makers

  • Ash & Grain

    Woodwork

I make small furniture from reclaimed timber finished with food-safe oil and nothing else.

    website@ashgrain

  • Big Fire

    Street food

I run a Polish street food kitchen — pierogi and bigos from my mum’s recipes, adapted for a queue.

    website@bigfire

  • Bothy Bakehouse

    Bakery & cakes

I bake Scottish oven scones, empire biscuits and tablet-topped brownies in small batches from a converted garage kitchen.

    website@bothybakehouse

  • Bothy Fragrance

    Candles & home fragrance

I make wax melts and reed diffusers scented with essential oils, never synthetics.

    website@bothyfragrance

  • Corrie Weaving

    Knitwear & textiles

I sew tweed bags and travel accessories in Scottish lambswool from a mill in the Borders. Everything’s made to be worn in actual Scottish weather.

  • Heather Kitchen

    Bakery & cakes

I bake sourdough and slow-fermented bread fresh the morning of the market, never the night before.

    website@heatherkitchen

  • Ink Prints

    Art & prints

I draw the hills in ink and gouache and print them on heavy cotton paper.

    website@inkprints

  • Loch Fyne & Creel

    Fish & seafood

I hot- and cold-smoke salmon and haddock over oak in a smokehouse I built myself. I sell out by 1pm most weeks.

    website@lochfynecreel

  • Muirhead & Game

    Butcher & game

I make square sausage, black pudding and haggis to a family recipe that predates the shop. Chilled display and a generator on outdoor pitches.

    website@muirheadgame

  • Press Illustration

    Art & prints

I cut and print lino by hand in two or three colours, printed in my kitchen.

    website@pressillustration

  • Retro Salvage

    Vintage & upcycled

I restore and sell mid-century glassware cleaned, repaired and honestly described. If it can be mended I mend it rather than scrap it.

    website@retrosalvage

  • Rowan Table

    Bakery & cakes

I bake Scottish oven scones, empire biscuits and tablet-topped brownies using flour milled in Fife and a 24-hour ferment.
