I brew a dark mild and a Scottish 80/- in a ten-barrel plant outside Alloa.

I make raw-milk cheese on my family’s farm with a proper counter, a proper wire and proper advice. I can post a cheese board anywhere in the UK.

I knit hats, scarves and mitts using Harris tweed offcuts that would be binned.

I hot- and cold-smoke salmon and haddock over oak in a smokehouse I built myself.

I make traybakes and celebration cakes fresh the morning of the market, never the night before.
