Meet the makers

  • Ash Studio

    Ceramics

I hand-build slab vessels with a matte speckle and a raw clay foot.

  • Auld Feast

    Street food

I run a Polish street food kitchen — pierogi and bigos using Scotch beef and a griddle that never gets cold. Vegan option always on, not as an afterthought.

  • Bothy at the Market

    Candles & home fragrance

I make candles in salvaged whisky bottles with cotton wicks and a proper cure time. Sniff before you buy — the stall is set up for it.

  • Braeside Apiary Co

    Honey & bees

I make mead and sell honey from my own hives never heated, never filtered beyond the coarse strain.

  • Corrie Dairy

    Cheese & dairy

I make raw-milk cheese on my family’s farm from a herd of forty Ayrshires just outside Kilmarnock.

  • Muirhead & Game

    Butcher & game

I make square sausage, black pudding and haggis to a family recipe that predates the shop.

  • Press Illustration

    Art & prints

I cut and print lino by hand in two or three colours, printed in my kitchen.

  • Rolling Truck

    Street food

I cook Sri Lankan street food to order from my mum’s recipes, adapted for a queue.

  • Sugar Sweetie Shop

    Sweets & fudge

I make handmade honeycomb and salted caramels in flavours that change with what’s in season. I do a sugar-free line for the regulars who ask.

  • Whin Preserves

    Preserves & chutneys

I make small-batch jams, jellies and marmalades using whatever the season gives me. Tasting spoons on the stall — try before you buy.
