Portobello High Street, first Saturday of the month from February to December, 9.30am to 1.30pm. A proper local market with a charity rate for Scottish charities. First Saturday of the month, February to December. Free entry, dogs on leads welcome.

Getting here

Parking is signposted from the main road. Trader vehicles are moved off site before we open.

    Candles & home fragrance

    I make wax melts and reed diffusers cut and polished in the workshop.

    I sell beef and lamb from our own hill farm using rare-breed pork from Perthshire.

    I weave scarves and throws on a floor loom in Scottish lambswool from a mill in the Borders. The bobble hats keep the whole stall afloat.

    I sell fresh fish straight off the Kintyre boats landed at Tarbert the day before the market. Ice and a chilled counter, so power matters to me.
