About this event

The Steadings at Rosewell, first Sunday of the month, 10am to 2pm. Traders in from 8am. Midlothian producers and makers in a lovely wee setting. First Sunday of the month. Free entry, dogs on leads welcome.

Getting here

Parking is signposted from the main road. Trader vehicles are moved off site before we open.

    I dry-cure bacon and make charcuterie shot within twenty miles and processed the same week.

    I make a spiced rum and a coffee liqueur with juniper, whin flower and sea buckthorn. Off-sales only unless the event has a bar licence.

    I make laminated pastries — croissants, cruffins, morning buns fresh the morning of the market, never the night before. Everything sells out by lunchtime, which I take as a good sign.
