No ticket needed — just turn up. Parking is free and there is plenty of it, though it does fill from about eleven.
Dogs very welcome
We are a proudly dog-friendly site. Short leads in the barn please, it gets busy.
All undercover
The market is in the Market Barn and the Carthouse, both undercover, so it runs whatever the weather is doing.
Café open all day
The Fold Café is open 9am to 4pm with a vegetarian and vegan menu built around what we grow on the farm. The Veg Shed is open too.
Cash and card
Most traders take card, but bring a little cash where you can — it saves them the charges and some of the smaller stalls prefer it.
Where your money goes
The Fold is a not-for-profit. What the market makes helps fund the organic community farm, the nature trail and the volunteer programme.

Jewellery
I make recycled silver jewellery by hand shaped around the wearer rather than a trend. Commissions are about a third of what I do.
Beacon & Lights
Glass
I make stained glass panels and suncatchers all leaded by hand in the traditional way. It is fragile, and I will happily rewrap it for you.

I grow cut flowers on a no-dig market garden all peat-free and grown without chemicals. If it will not grow here, I do not sell it.

I sew bags from deadstock canvas in undyed wool and plant-dyed silk. I grow half the dye plants on an allotment in Powick.

I bake sourdough and slow-ferment everything all vegetarian, most of it vegan.

I press juice and make cider vinegar all vegetarian, most of it vegan.

I paint in gouache and print at home using a press I rebuilt from a school clear-out. Commissions of houses and pets keep the lights on.

I screenprint in small editions on cotton rag paper in editions of thirty or fewer.

I make small furniture from storm-fallen timber using ash, cherry and field maple from local fellings.

I blend bath salts and body oils following formulations I had safety-assessed properly.

I cook street food from a converted horsebox all vegetarian, most of it vegan. Everything is made in a registered home kitchen, rated five.

I make beeswax candles from local hives in scents built around the seasons here. No paraffin, no palm, no plastic wrap.
