Foraging Walk and Wild Food
A walk round the farm and lanes identifying wild food, then cooking and eating some of it.
About this event
A walk out around the farm and the lanes to find what is actually edible at this point in the year, then back to the Craft Room kitchen to cook and eat some of it.
You will learn how to identify half a dozen wild plants confidently — properly confidently, with the lookalikes and the caveats — rather than thirty vaguely.
Sturdy shoes and a coat. Baskets provided. Everything we pick is on an organic holding that has not been sprayed in twenty years.
With Greg Nash. Wild food walks and fermentation classes.
In The Craft Room & Kitchen at The Fold, Bransford. Free parking, and the Café is open 9am to 4pm.
