About this event
Drop the feed dogs, take the foot off and draw with the needle. It is alarming for about ten minutes and then extremely satisfying.
Over the day you will build a small framed picture, learning tension, thread choice, layering and how to stop it all puckering — which is the thing nobody explains properly.
Machines, threads, fabrics and the frame are all included. Bring a photograph or a sketch if you have something in mind.
With Delia Moon. Free motion embroidery, slow stitch and basketry.
In Studio 4 at The Fold, Bransford. Free parking, and the Café is open 9am to 4pm.
