Meet the makers

  • Auld Est. 2019

    Street food

I run a wood-fired pizza van from a converted horsebox with a proper oven in it. I can serve 120 an hour if the queue’s moving.

    website@auldkitchen

  • Big Fire

    Street food

I run a Polish street food kitchen — pierogi and bigos from my mum’s recipes, adapted for a queue. I can serve 120 an hour if the queue’s moving.

    website@bigfire

  • Bothy Cider

    Craft beer & cider

I brew a dark mild and a Scottish 80/- in a ten-barrel plant outside Alloa. Mixed cases are the easiest way to try the range.

    website@bothycider

  • Bothy Textiles

    Knitwear & textiles

I knit hats, scarves and mitts using Harris tweed offcuts that would be binned.

    website@bothytextiles

  • Braeside Candle Co

    Candles & home fragrance

I make wax melts and reed diffusers cut and polished in the workshop.

    website@braesidecandleco

  • Bramble Jams

    Preserves & chutneys

I forage and preserve — bramble, elderflower, rowan, rosehip with no pectin and no artificial anything. Tasting spoons on the stall — try before you buy.

    website@bramblejams

  • Bruntsfield Kitchen

    Preserves & chutneys

I forage and preserve — bramble, elderflower, rowan, rosehip using whatever the season gives me.

    website@bruntsfieldkitchen

  • Clyde Seafood

    Fish & seafood

I sell shellfish landed on the west coast over oak in a smokehouse I built myself. I sell out by 1pm most weeks.

    website@clydeseafood

  • Corrie & Fern

    Plants & flowers

I grow houseplants and propagate my own cuttings suited to actual west-of-Scotland weather. Wreath workshops through November.

    website@corriefern

  • Corrie Spirits

    Gin & whisky

I make a rhubarb and a navy-strength gin with juniper, whin flower and sea buckthorn. Off-sales only unless the event has a bar licence.

    website@corriespirits

  • Corrie Studio

    Knitwear & textiles

I weave scarves and throws on a floor loom dyed with heather, nettle and onion skin.

    website@corriestudio

  • Croft Bakehouse

    Bakery & cakes

I bake sourdough and slow-fermented bread to my gran’s recipes, with a bit less sugar.

    website@croftbakehouse

  • Grain & Grain

    Woodwork

I carve spoons and kitchen tools by hand salvaged from Glasgow tenement refits. Names burned on while you wait.

    website@graingrain

  • Heather & Salve

    Soap & skincare

I make cold-process soap using no palm oil and no plastic.

    website@heathersalve

  • Ink Studio

    Art & prints

I paint Scottish coastline in watercolour from sketches done on the hill, not from photos. Cards keep the lights on; prints pay for the paper.

    website@inkstudio

  • Kelpie & Hops

    Craft beer & cider

I brew a dark mild and a Scottish 80/- with Scottish-grown barley wherever I can get it. Off-sales cans and bottles; on-sales only where there’s a bar licence.

    website@kelpiehops

  • Kelpie Scotland

    Hot drinks

I do hot chocolate with proper Scottish cream and mulled apple through the winter markets. I bring my own generator so I’m not fighting for a socket.

    website@kelpiebaristaco

  • Loch Fyne & Creel

    Fish & seafood

I hot- and cold-smoke salmon and haddock over oak in a smokehouse I built myself.

    website@lochfynecreel

  • Machair Apothecary

    Soap & skincare

I make bath salts and body oils cured for six weeks before it ever reaches a stall.

    website@machairapothecary

  • Ochil Meats

    Butcher & game

I make square sausage, black pudding and haggis shot within twenty miles and processed the same week.

    website@ochilmeats

  • Retro & Found

    Vintage & upcycled

I upcycle furniture and small homeware sized properly, because vintage sizing lies. If it can be mended I mend it rather than scrap it.

    website@retrofound

  • Retro Emporium

    Vintage & upcycled

I restore and sell mid-century glassware painted with low-VOC chalk paint.

    website@retroemporium

  • Rowan Knits

    Knitwear & textiles

I weave scarves and throws on a floor loom in Scottish lambswool from a mill in the Borders. The bobble hats keep the whole stall afloat.

    website@rowanknits

  • Skerry & Metal

    Jewellery

I make recycled silver jewellery by hand in a workshop above the kitchen. Free resizing for life on every ring I make.

    website@skerrymetal

  • Skerry Distillers

    Gin & whisky

I make a spiced rum and a coffee liqueur in batches of about 200 bottles at a time.

    website@skerrydistillers

  • Wee Kitchen Co

    Street food

I run a Polish street food kitchen — pierogi and bigos from my mum’s recipes, adapted for a queue.

    website@weekitchenco

  • Whin Jewellery

    Jewellery

I make recycled silver jewellery by hand with a hammered finish that catches the light. Free resizing for life on every ring I make.
