Applying for a stall
Events that use Popup Pal take stall applications through a form on their event page — look for the apply for a stall link. You don’t need an account to apply.
Filling in the form
You’ll choose a stall category (the organiser’s options, each with its price — “Craft table £35”, “Food pitch 3×3m £120”) and answer the organiser’s questions. Common asks: product photos, public liability insurance, food hygiene ratings, power requirements. Give your business name, contact name, email and phone — the email matters most, because everything that follows arrives there.
Some forms have opening and closing dates. If applications are closed you’ll see when they open; there’s no way around the window, so set a reminder rather than emailing the organiser.
After you submit
Your application goes into the organiser’s review queue with the status submitted. The organiser decides — timelines vary by event, and busy seasonal fairs often decide in batches. You’ll get an email when they do:
- Accepted — your stall is provisioned. Depending on the organiser’s setup you’ll either receive an invoice to pay online (see Paying invoices) or your card is charged as part of acceptance. You’ll also get a claim link for your stall — see Claiming your stall.
- Declined — the organiser has passed this time. Declines are usually about balance (too many similar stalls) rather than quality.
Change of plans? You can withdraw your application from the link in your confirmation email any time before it’s decided.
Tips that get you accepted
- Use good photos of your actual stall setup, not just products — organisers are imagining their hall.
- Answer the insurance question precisely; “will sort before the event” reads as a risk.
- Say what makes your range different — organisers are curating against duplication.
